Ok opponauts, how do I reach you?
I mean besides oppositelock, what social media do you belong too? I set up a Facebook page for those interested in OPPOMEET, it doesn’t seem to be getting a ton of traction. ( I think we have 16 people at the moment.) SO I do understand it’s a long way out and people maybe hesitate to say they are coming. But here’s the deal, if you think you will come if it’s a big event, click like on Facebook.
I need All who are interested and could maybe if the stars align to like the page. Then we will cut it down when we select dates.
If you know of a social media site that most oppos use to communicate I’ll use that to reach out and get numbers.
I’m trying to get some of your favorite authors, (Steve Lehto, seemed interested as did torchinski)
Ideally we can get as many opponauts as possible to join in. There will be discounted hotel rates, fun stuff to do, swap meets and more!
Please tell every one! Spread the word! Spread on Twitter and Facebook!

Oppomeet is not something for me, I live in Norway.. Social media.. well.. you’ll find me at @ANBratlie on that tweetybirdthing.

You could just set tentative dates, perhaps block off a month or two, and then make a note that the actual dates are still TBD.

It’s tough since there’s not really
that
many of us. There’s what, about 70 or 80 people who post in a given week and about 30 daily regulars? I will stop by (I’m in DeKalb, IL) and bring my Mustang (in whatever state it’s in; it may or may not be painted) and let people drive it, but the numbers you’re looking for aren’t really there.
To be more constructive, try posting on the OppositeTalk page on Facebook, there’s a bunch of people there.

I haven’t used Facebook in a long time, but I logged in to see what I was supposed to be clicking on, didn’t see anything that was about an Oppomeet, and then just got confused and logged out. I’m old, where do I click? I am tentatively interested in coming. It’s hard for me to plan a year out but if I can make it, this sounds like it could be fun. And not too far from me here in Detroit.
